Ford is #1 in quality and we are their test partner.

Based on Sciemetric research using JD Power data, Ford has the lowest number of engine issues within the first 90 days of any automation supplier. We have been testing Ford engines since the mid - 1990s.

Drive first time yield on your engine line to 100%

Continuous improvement is difficult with traditional methods of monitoring engine quality. This is due to the reliance on end-of-line testing, weak reporting, the lack of data and the inability to analyze it quickly and efficiently. Sciemetric’s Engine IPT suite is proven to deliver high quality engines while reducing costs and enabling manufacturers to achieve high first time yield targets.

Our approach finds defects as early as possible in the assembly process rather than at the end of the line when the costs to address them are more significant. Our solutions are flexible to manage the switch to different model types as required on the line and we can combine multiple tests in a single station to provide a more efficient and effective quality check.

Common tests to verify quality on engine lines include:

Sciemetric’s in-process testing approach not only uses advanced signature analysis to deliver the most accurate quality measurement on the production line, but also includes the collection of all process data and tools to make use of it. Create reports with a few mouse clicks, drill down into quality issues and determine their root causes so that they can be eradicated.

We really know engines. It’s where we started in manufacturing in the early 1990s when we pioneered signature analysis for in-process defect detection, creating the industry’s first engine cold test application for a V8/V10 engine line. Today our systems ensure the quality of millions of engines every year, around the world.
